Boğaziçi University (BOUN, Türkiye), one of Türkiye's leading universities, is ranked among the first 500 Engineering and Technology universities in the world in 2023. BOUN boasts 30 research centers and 159 research laboratories and has a well-trained workforce and infrastructure, particularly within the Institute of Biomedical Engineering. BOUN’s aspiration in international and Horizon projects is supported by its Technology Transfer Office (BOUN-TTO), which provides administrative and financial coordination support for scientific research projects and valorization. BOUN-TTO serves as a facilitator, intermediary, and collaborator in managing BOUN’s relations with the industry and other funding sources. Currently, BOUN-TTO manages 25 Horizon 2020 grants totaling 9.6 million EUR in funds. TACTIX falls under the scope of neurotechnology, life sciences, and brain research, in which BOUN has taken significant steps to advance scientific research and technological innovation. Within the scope of the ERASMUS+ program's "European Universities" initiative reopened in 2020, BOUN co-applied with seven European partners for the “European University of Brain and Technology" project NeurotechEU. NeurotechEU was initiated in 2021, paving the way for BOUN to become a European University. BOUN leads the establishment of 'NeurotechEU-NEURICOO' to coordinate the valorization of scientific innovations.

Fraunhofer-Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS (MEVIS) in Germany, embedded in a worldwide network of clinical and academic partners, develops real-world software solutions for image and data-supported early detection, diagnosis, and therapy, and it is  It is at the forefront of novel MRI image acquisition development, quantitative modeling, and translating.  The institute focuses on cancer and diseases of the circulatory system, brain, breast, liver, and lung, aiming to detect diseases earlier and more reliably, tailor treatments to each individual, and make therapeutic success more measurable. MEVIS also creates software systems for industrial partners to conduct image-based studies to determine the effectiveness of medicines and contrast agents. Collaborating closely with medical technology and pharmaceutical companies, MEVIS provides solutions for the entire development chain, from applied research to certified medical products. Dedicated to enhancing the impact of computational MRI on patient care, MEVIS supports spin-offs and technology transfer, operating a quality management system (QMS) according to the EN ISO 13485 (Medical Devices) standard since 2005, with a focus on software development compliance with IEC 62304 and the EU MDR.

Amsterdam University Medical Center (AUMC) in the Netherlands is renowned for its expertise in clinical multiple sclerosis (MS) research and computational MRI for developing novel imaging biomarkers. Formed in 2018 from the administrative merger of Amsterdam's two academic hospitals—the Academic Medical Center (AMC) and the VU University Medical Center (VUmc)—AUMC integrates the medical faculties of the University of Amsterdam and the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. As a leading medical institution, AUMC excels in delivering high-quality patient care, conducting groundbreaking scientific research, and educating future healthcare professionals. With over 16,000 staff members across its two locations, AUMC is dedicated to providing accessible and excellent care, particularly in the complex treatment of rare disorders, with a vision of a future where diseases can be prevented and patients receive the best possible treatments.
