TACTIX Midterm Review shows solid progress!

Saturday, 22 November 2025

The TACTIX consortium held its Midterm Progress Report Review Meeting on 21 November 2025 via Zoom, bringing together project partners from Boğaziçi University, Fraunhofer MEVIS  and Amsterdam UMC, along with the Project Officer, Ms. Emanuela Galeazzi, and external reviewer, Dr. Maria Teresa Da Cruz Augusto Neves. The meeting provided an opportunity to review scientific and managerial progress, assess compliance with Horizon Europe requirements, and discuss next steps.

During the meeting, progress across all work packages was reviewed, including advances in early career researcher training, the development of a novel BBB-ASL MRI biomarker for multiple sclerosis, senior researcher mentoring, and stakeholder engagement activities. The reviewers highlighted the project’s strong scientific achievements and encouraged clearer communication of key results, quantitative indicators, and the emerging MRI research ecosystem supported by TACTIX. With no major risks identified and several activities already ahead of schedule, the project was positively assessed and noted as a potential success story, with recommendations to further strengthen public-facing communication, highlight industry collaboration, and continue exploring future European funding opportunities.
